Island Craft Co. works with weaving families on Hainan Island, off the southern coast of China. Our textiles are woven from li brocade — a hand-weaving tradition native to the island, and one of the oldest textile crafts in the region.
We keep the process slow on purpose. Small batches mean each piece carries small irregularities — a mark of the hand, not a defect. We use natural fibres, plant dyes and plastic-free packing, and we ship directly from the workshop.
